The boring part of owning a policy, done properly
Buying a policy takes a few weeks. Owning one takes decades. The client portal exists so that the second part does not depend on somebody remembering to email you. This page explains what is inside it — it is not the portal itself.
The most important thing to know
Policy details in the portal are recorded by our team from carrier documents and conversations. They are not a live feed from the insurance company. We do not connect to carrier systems, and nothing updates itself overnight.
That is why every policy carries a “last verified” date. If a number matters — a claim, a loan, a surrender value, a lapse notice — the carrier’s own statement or portal is the authoritative record, not ours.
About the information shown here. Policy details shown in this portal are recorded by our team from carrier documents and conversations. They are not a live feed from the insurance company. Always treat the carrier’s own statement or portal as the authoritative record, and check the "last updated" date shown with each policy.
What is inside
Six things, and none of them are a dashboard for its own sake
Everything here exists because it answers a question a client has actually asked us at an awkward moment.
Your policies, with an honest last-verified date
Carrier, policy number, coverage amount, beneficiaries and premium — in one list instead of five envelopes. Every policy shows the date we last checked it against carrier documents, so you always know how fresh the record is.
The carrier launcher
A direct link to each carrier’s own policyholder portal, with the service number and a short checklist of what you will need before you click. Links open the carrier’s own site in a new tab.
The document vault
Policy contracts, annual statements, illustrations and delivery receipts, stored in one place. Uploaded by you or added by us, and available to download whenever you want them.
Service requests with real statuses
Open a request — a beneficiary change, an address update, a payment question — and watch it move through received, with the carrier, waiting on you, and completed. Not an email you never hear back on.
Appointments and annual reviews
Your upcoming appointments, and a yearly review that is scheduled rather than hoped for. Beneficiary confirmation is part of every one.
The estate-plan organiser
A record of which documents exist, who holds them and where they are, so the people you named are not searching a filing cabinet at the worst possible time.
Security
What the portal will never do
The carrier launcher is a list of links, not a login broker. Your relationship with the insurance company stays directly between you and them.
- We never ask for, receive or store your carrier username or password.
- We never sign in to a carrier account on your behalf or proxy your session.
- Carrier links always open the carrier’s own website in a new tab.
- We do not ask for Social Security numbers or bank details through the portal.
How to get an invitation
The portal is for existing clients, and accounts are created by invitation rather than by public sign-up. That is deliberate: an account is tied to real policy records, so we confirm who you are before one exists.
- 1.Already a client? Ask us at your next review, or send a message and we will send an invitation to the email address we already hold for you.
- 2.Not a client yet? An account is created when a policy is placed. Before that there is nothing for it to show.
- 3.Check the sender. An invitation comes from our own domain and never asks for a password by reply. We will never email you asking for carrier credentials.
Why it exists
So your family is not searching a filing cabinet
The most common failure we see is not a bad policy. It is a good policy nobody could find. The family does not know the carrier, the policy number, or who to call, and the claim gets delayed at the worst possible moment.
A portal does not fix that on its own. What fixes it is a record that is kept current, a review that happens every year, and a beneficiary list that gets read out loud. The portal is where all three live.
What we ask of you
- Tell us when life changes. A marriage, a divorce, a birth, a death, a house move, a new job. Each of those can change who should be named on a policy.
- Upload the statement when it arrives. It is the fastest way for the record to stay accurate between reviews.
- Tell one other person the portal exists. A record only helps if somebody knows to look for it.
- Check the last-verified date. If it looks stale and the number matters, ask us and we will confirm it with the carrier.
Ready when you are
If you already have an account, sign in. If you are a client and never received an invitation, that is on us — tell us and we will fix it.
