Privacy policy

What we collect through this website, what we deliberately do not collect, who else touches it, and how to ask us to change or delete it.

This policy is being reviewed and may change. It describes how the site works today and has not yet been finalised. If anything here matters to a decision you are about to make, please ask us and we will tell you where it stands.

Version 0.1.0 · Draft

Last updated: 2 September 2026

Status: Under review. This policy has not yet been approved by counsel.

This policy explains how Quantum Wealth Builders LLC (“Quantum Family Wealth”, “we”, “us”) handles information collected through quantumfamilywealth.com and the client portal. It covers the website. It does not cover what an insurance company does with an application once you ask us to submit one; each carrier publishes its own privacy notice.

What we collect

We collect three kinds of information, and only the first is something you type on purpose.

  • Contact details you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, state of residence, and anything you write in a message or booking form.
  • Inputs to the tools, where you choose to send them. The calculators run in your browser. If you ask us to save or email a summary, the figures in that summary reach us at that point and not before.
  • Client portal data. For existing clients, the policy records our team maintains, documents you upload, service requests you raise, and sign-in activity.
  • Basic technical information. Requests to the site produce server logs containing an IP address, a timestamp, the page requested and a browser user-agent string. These are used for security and to keep the site running.

What we do not collect through public forms

The public forms on this site do not ask for a Social Security number, a driver’s license number, bank account or card details, or medical records. Please do not send them through a web form or by email. When an application genuinely needs that information, it is collected through the insurance company’s own secure application process, not here.

We also never ask for your insurance company username or password. We do not store carrier credentials, and we will never imitate a carrier sign-in screen.

How the tool answers are handled

The coverage calculator, the policy fit assessment and the approval path estimator all compute their results in your browser. Your answers are not sent to an analytics provider, an advertising provider, or any third party, and they are not written to our servers unless you take a deliberate step to send them to us.

With analytics consent switched on, we record that a tool was opened and completed. We do not record what you entered into it.

Cookies and consent

Nothing beyond strictly necessary storage loads before you make a choice. There is no “by continuing to browse you agree” behaviour, no category is pre-selected except the necessary one, and rejecting everything is exactly as easy as accepting it. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer.

  • Necessary. Sign-in, security and keeping your place in a tool. These cannot be switched off, because the site does not work without them.
  • Analytics. Which pages and tools people find useful. Off unless you turn it on.
  • Advertising. Whether an advertisement led someone here. Off unless you turn it on, and never used inside the client portal.
  • Personalization. Remembering the goal you selected so the next steps we show are relevant. Stored on your device.

We store the version of the consent wording alongside your choice, so there is a record of what was actually agreed to.

Third parties we use

These providers process information on our behalf so the site can function. They are bound by their own agreements with us and by their own privacy notices.

  • Supabase — database, authentication and file storage for the client portal.
  • Netlify — hosting and delivery of the website itself.
  • Calendly — scheduling, when you book a conversation. The booking widget is a third-party embed and is subject to Calendly’s own privacy notice.
  • Resend — sending transactional email, such as a confirmation or a summary you asked for.
  • Google Analytics 4 and Meta — measurement, loaded only after you give analytics or advertising consent, and not at all before.
  • Insurance carriers — when you ask us to submit an application, the information required for that application goes to the carrier you are applying to.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

  • Website enquiries and contact-form messages: a period we have not finalised yet, and will state here once it is set.
  • Client and policy records: a period we have not finalised yet, and will state here once it is set.
  • Analytics data: a period we have not finalised yet, and will state here once it is set.

Some records must be kept for a set period because insurance record-keeping rules require it, even after you ask us to delete them. Where that applies to something you have asked us to remove, we will tell you which records they are and why.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Client portal access requires authentication, and portal records are restricted to the account they belong to. No system is perfect, and we would rather say that than imply otherwise. If you believe an account has been accessed without permission, contact us immediately.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and provide a copy;
  • correct information that is wrong or out of date;
  • delete information, subject to the record-keeping rules noted above;
  • stop sending you marketing communications.

The specific rights available to you, and the deadlines we must meet, depend on where you live. That section is under review and will be completed with counsel rather than guessed at here.

How to exercise them

Email marco@quantumfamilywealth.com or write to us at 600 B Street, San Diego, CA 92101. Tell us what you would like us to do and give us enough detail to find your records. We may need to verify your identity before acting, particularly for a deletion request.

Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this site. Where a policy covers a child, the information we hold is provided by the adult applying for or owning that policy. If you believe a child has given us information directly, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Where a change is significant, we will say so plainly rather than relying on you to notice a new date.
